Waltzing Matilda

Once a jolly swagman, sat beside a billabong,
under the shade of a coolibab tree.
And he sang as he sat, and waited while his billy boiled:
"You'll come a-walzing Matilda with me."

	 Walzing Matilda, walzing Matilda,
you'll come a-walzing Matilda with me.
And he sang while he sat,
and waited while his billy boiled:
"You'll come a-walzing Matilda with me."

Down came a jumbuck to drink beside the billabong,
up jumped the swagman and siezed him with glee.
And he sang as he stowed, that jumbuck in his tuckerbag,
"You'll come a-walzing Matilda with me."

	Walzing Matilda, walzing Matilda,
you'll come a-walzing Matilda with me.
And he sang as he stowed
	that jumbuck in his tuckerbag
"You'll come a-walzing Matilda with me."

Down came the squatter, riding on his thoroughbred,
down came the troopers, one, two, three.
"Where's that jolly jumbuck you've got in your tuckerbag?:
You'll come a-walzing Matilda with me."

	Walzing Matilda, walzing Matilda,
you'll come a-walzing Matilda with me.
	Where's that jolly jumbuck
	you stowed into your tuckerbag
"You'll come a-walzing Matilda with me."

Up jumped the swagman and plunged into that billabong,
"You'll never catch me alive," cried he."
And his gost may be heard as you ride beside that billabong:
"You'll come a-walzing Matilda with me."

	Walzing Matilda, walzing Matilda,
you'll come a-walzing Matilda with me.
And his gost may be heard
if you ride beside the billabong:
"You'll come a-walzing Matilda with me."
