There's a bridle hangin' on the wall
(En sliten grimma)

				T&M: Garson J. Robinson

                C G7 C C7
There's a bridle hangin' on the wall
          F C
and a saddle in an empty stall.
              G7 C
You ask me, why the teardrops fall,
             G7 C
it's that bridle hangin' on the wall.

There's a horse-shoe nailed above the door,
it's a shoe that my old pony wore.
A fain-ted blanket in the hall,
and that bridle hangin' on the wall.

Whith that pony for my guide,
I used to ride down the trail
watching the moon stream low.
But now that faithful friend
down the end of that trail
he's on where good ponys go.

And his bridle's hangin' on the wall,
and his saddle's in his empty stall.
No more he'll answer to my call,
there's a bridle hangin on the wall.

		------------

And his bridle's hangin' on the wall,
and his saddle's in his empty stall.
No more he'll answer to my call,
there's a bridle hangin on the wall.
